Job Title: Operations & Planning Engineer (Manufacturing Industry)
Location: Industrial Zone – 6th of October City
Job Summary:
The Operations & Planning Engineer is responsible for supporting production planning, monitoring operational performance, and ensuring alignment between manufacturing capacity and business demand. The role also involves KPI tracking, reporting, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support production planning and monitor manufacturing capacity.
- Track operational KPIs and prepare regular performance reports.
- Identify operational issues and support root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to align plans and forecasts.
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities.
- Assist in budgeting, cost tracking, and variance analysis with Finance.
- Support performance management by providing operational data and productivity reports.
- Contribute to process improvement and efficiency initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, operations, or maintenance.
- Experience in factory/manufacturing environments is required.
- Strong understanding of planning, capacity management, and KPIs.
- Good knowledge of Excel and reporting tools.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
