Logistics Coordination: Manage logistics operations starting from goods arrival in the Middle East, including customs clearance and handover from freight forwarders. Recommend and manage the most suitable shipment modes (air, sea, express, multimodal) based on cost, lead time, and operational requirements for regional distribution.
Warehouse & Retail Distribution: Oversee stock movement from arrival points to regional warehouses and onward distribution to pop-up stores, exhibitions, and retail channels.
3PL Management: Lead relationships with third-party logistics providers for storage, order fulfilment, and returns processing, ensuring compliance with agreed SLAs.
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels across systems and physical stock by implementing robust control measures, conducting regular reconciliations, and promptly resolving discrepancies.
Cross-Regional Collaboration: Work closely with the Hong Kong logistics team to ensure seamless coordination of shipment schedules, documentation, and inventory updates.
Warehouse Solution Support: Assist in evaluating, implementing, and optimizing warehouse management solutions to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
Process Optimization: Implement best practices for regional logistics workflows and inventory management to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for cost savings, service enhancements, and scalability to support retail and event operations.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to GCC import regulations and maintain accurate documentation for all transactions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field
Proven experience in operations or logistics management, preferably in retail or event-driven environments
Strong knowledge of inventory systems and reconciliation processes
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems; familiarity with 3PL operations is a plus
