Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

8–10 years of experience in project or operations management.

Experience in industrial automation, automated parking systems, warehouse automation, conveyor systems, airport baggage handling systems, or similar industries. Previous experience managing installation teams and multiple projects. .UAE Driving License is an advantage

The Operations &Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the operation,

maintenance, and service delivery of automated material handling systems, cargo handling

equipment, automated parking systems, and warehouse automation solutions. The role

ensures maximum system availability, customer satisfaction, contractual compliance,

operational efficiency, and profitability while maintaining the highest standards of safety and

quality.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

Lead the day-to-day operation and maintenance activities across all customer sites.

Ensure all preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities are executed

in accordance with contractual requirements.

Maximize system uptime and equipment reliability while minimizing downtime.

Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance

Indicators (KPIs), and contractual obligations.

Develop operational strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Maintenance Management

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.

Manage emergency breakdown response and recovery activities.

Ensure Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is conducted for major failures.

Monitor Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), and

equipment availability.

Ensure OEM maintenance procedures are followed.

Review and approve technical reports and corrective actions.

Team Management

Lead, coach, and supervise engineers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors.

Conduct performance appraisals and identify training and development needs.

Plan manpower requirements and duty rosters.

Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Customer Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on operational matters.

Attend customer meetings and performance reviews.

Address customer complaints promptly and professionally.

Identify opportunities for contract renewals and additional service offerings.

Commercial Responsibilities

Manage maintenance budgets and operational costs.

Monitor spare parts inventory and optimize stock levels.

Review quotations for maintenance contracts and spare parts.

Support the preparation of annual maintenance contract (AMC) proposals.

Identify cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.

Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ)

Ensure compliance with UAE health and safety regulations and company HSE

policies.

Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.

Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements (where

applicable).

Planning &Reporting

Prepare Monthly Operational Reports, Including

System availability
Downtime analysis
KPI performance
Maintenance activities
Customer satisfaction
Budget performance

Present reports to senior management and clients.

Continuous Improvement

Implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and condition-based maintenance

practices.

Drive digitalization and predictive maintenance initiatives.

Recommend system upgrades and modernization solutions.

Improve maintenance processes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics,

Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

PMP certification is an advantage.

NEBOSH or IOSH certification is desirable.

Certification in PLC/SCADA or industrial automation is advantageous.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial automation or material handling

systems.

At least 5 years in a managerial role.

Experience with cargo handling systems, automated parking systems, warehouse

automation, conveyors, ASRS, or airport logistics systems.

Experience managing Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and service teams in the UAE or GCC.
