About The Role

As an Operations Associate, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences at our leisure facilities. This guest-facing position ensures seamless entry for all visitors while providing outstanding care through personalized service. You will welcome guests warmly, inform them about shows, attractions, and facilities, and drive sales of tickets, merchandise, and services using a computerized POS system. Your responsibilities include managing cash operations, maintaining store cleanliness and stock levels, and proactively addressing guest needs to enhance satisfaction. By leveraging your product knowledge and service skills, you will contribute to revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety protocols.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure all rides and attractions rules and regulations are enforced at all times.
  • Ensure all rides and attractions start up and closedown procedures are completed correctly.
  • Organize and regulate queuing systems for all rides and attractions.
  • Ensure height measuring is conducted accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure ride platforms are organized for operation.
  • Explain, distribute and fit ride safety clothing to guests that require it.
  • Ensure that guests load and unload from rides and attractions safely and efficiently.
  • Check all ride restraints, safety belts and attraction equipment properly to ensure guests are safe and comfortable at all times.
  • Check safety equipment (fire extinguishers, emergency exits and emergency routes).
  • Communicate clearly with guests, colleagues and management at all times.
  • Be able to use the ride stop and emergency stop functions effectively and confidently.
  • Delivering fun and memorable experiences to the guests.
  • Opening and closing the rides and attractions to guests.
  • Follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Record all details of the daily operation or a ride or attraction (e.g. downtimes, throughputs and colleague breaks).

Essentials

  • Good customer service skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team and on their own
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic personality and have a passion for guest interaction and communication
  • Speak and understand English language
  • Ability to work under pressure and long shift times
  • Integrity being honest and ethical

Desirables

  • Higher secondary or equivalent
  • 1 year rides and attractions experience in another theme park
  • Speak and understand Arabic language
  • Creativity and alternative thinking to develop new ideas for and answers to work related problems
  • For Operator position training:
  • Ability to manage small teams
  • Ability to concentrate uninterrupted for long periods of time
  • Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to oversee the safety of all colleagues and guests at a particular ride or attraction
