Provides technical link between EF&MSD and Operations Divisions during the execution of projects works within ADNOC Gas Plants covered by the Permit to Work System (PTW)/Work Management System (WMS). He undertakes inspections to ensure consistent application of permit conditions and restrictions.
Responsibilities
Manages & controls the Jobs permits issues and completion process, ensuring correct Permit Authority is obtained in all permit issues and as per PTW/l/l/MS system.
Confirms the site cleanliness & safe for work.
Ensures the permits are comprehensive, accepted and signed off by only authorized personnel.
Identification of spading locations.
Coordination with operations for isolation test for verification of any time job or shut down job.
Ensures the sufficiency of supporting documents (TRA/FRA etc.,) accompanying the permits.
Liaises with Operations Division for release of Project work access areas and lay down areas.
Report to Mechanical Engineer on any Operational factors including constraints which have a bearing on the R&R Works or on progress of the Works.
Assist Job officer for preparation of TRA/FRAs.
Conducts and reviews permit to work non-compliance provides reports and advised outcomes.
Provides valuable input in incident investigations with respect to permit to work regulations and procedures.
Occasional interaction with other division's Office Administrators.

Reports to ADNOC Gas Job officer.
Work according to established procedures, practices, and technical standards.
Physical Efforts
Up to 30% walking, standing, and climbing ladders and structures when inspecting and checking.
During Turnaround Execution Period 80% Site involvement.
Work Environment
Central Workshops conditions - heat, noise, dust, fumes etc. environment with occasional A/C office conditions.
Normal plant condition with occasional work in extremely noisy and hot condition.

Should be familiar with working practices in Oil and Gas Industry with highest attention to HSE.
Knowledge to operate of machinery and handle tools required to perform work.
Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure smooth operation at site.

Desired Qualification
Bachelor/ High Diploma in Chemical/Process Engineering.
Knowledge in the operation & maintenance of Gas Process Plants, Shift system and a minimum of 10 years experience in in Oil Refinery or Petrochemical or Oil& Gas Industry.
Fluent with Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams & Isometric drawings.
Strong Computer Skills in MS office and ERP Databases.
Strong Safety and Risk Awareness of working in live Gas Plants.
