Job Summary
Lead and develop teams to drive operational excellence and business growth in cleaning services. Manage budgets, client relationships, incident response, and strategic initiatives to enhance service delivery and market presence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor management and staff to uphold professionalism and enhance team capabilities
- Develop and implement succession planning, capability development, and employee engagement programs
- Oversee ground operations, data reporting, asset management, budgeting, financial counseling, and HR processes
- Prepare and manage budgets for cleaning operations to ensure cost control and operational efficiency
- Monitor expenses, forecast costs, and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Present operational, financial, and strategic updates to the board and shareholders aligned with growth objectives
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and generate performance reports for senior management
- Drive business growth by identifying opportunities to improve market visibility and organizational presence
- Lead budget planning and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for projects and cleaning staff
- Represent and promote the organization in external engagements
- Direct the development and review of operational policies and procedures
- Explore, evaluate, and prioritize new markets for business expansion and participate in expansion activities
- Drive adoption of smart building technologies and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and service delivery
- Collaborate with clients to align service delivery with business goals and improve client relationships through strategic planning
- Oversee incident management by reviewing contingency plans and endorsing emergency and crisis response procedures
- Analyze incident trends and provide direction to mitigate risks and improve safety
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred
- 8+ years of experience in cleaning services or facility management with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles
- Experience managing large operations, transitions, and scaling new functions in the cleaning industry (housekeeping, general cleaning)
- Proven leadership skills in building and managing high-performing teams and new functions
- Resourceful, adaptive, and able to deliver results under tight timelines in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to travel between sites as required
- Familiarity with modern cleaning technologies and equipment
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
