Summary
The Operations Engineer for ENOWA-Water R&D and Innovation is responsible for ensuring that all systems and equipment are installed, tested, and commissioned in a timely and safe manner. He/she will work closely with project teams to ensure that all systems are functioning properly and meet the
required specifications.
Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of projects which is a critical support function necessary for the continued success of the NEOM Water Sector
Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities
- Develop commissioning plans and procedures for new or existing systems and equipment
- Conduct pilot testing to ensure systems meet performance requirements
- Work with project teams to ensure that all systems are installed and tested in accordance with
- project specifications
- Perform functional testing of all systems and equipment to ensure that they are operating
- within design parameters
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure that systems and equipment are installed
- and commissioned correctly
- Review and approve commissioning documentation including test reports and procedures
- Identify and report any issues that arise during commissioning and pilot testing
- Collaboration between all departments in Water Sector
Background, Skills
- 5 years of experience in commissioning and pilot testing of industrial systems
- and equipment
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems
- Experience with commissioning software and tools
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed across NEOM
