Job Description

We're seeking an Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end production, project delivery, and contract administration activities across the KSA business. The ideal candidate will lead all factory and project execution activities, covering design release, technical coordination, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, site execution, HSE, quality, and contract administration. The role ensures outputs are delivered on time, within budget, to quality standards, and in strict compliance with FIDIC-based subcontract conditions and internal SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cross-Divisional Operational Leadership

  • Lead operational activities across joinery, metal, FRP/GRP, solid surface, signage, POP, and fit-out execution.
  • Convert GM directives into structured operational plans with KPIs.
  • Coordinate closely with UAE teams for technical and production support.

2. Production Oversight

  • Oversee daily/weekly production programs and ensure factory output meets timelines and quality benchmarks.
  • Resolve production challenges and manage outsourced vendors.
  • Enforce HSE, ISO, and quality procedures.

3. Project Delivery & Site Execution

  • Lead PMs handling villa, commercial, retail, and activation projects.
  • Implement structured project controls including schedules, lookahead plans, progress logs, risk registers, VOs, and claims.
  • Oversee manpower, logistics, subcontractors, snagging, and handover.

4. Contract Administration & FIDIC Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with FIDIC provisions and subcontract conditions.
  • Support commercial team with notices, delays, variations, claims, and certifications.
  • Prevent scope changes without formal approval; monitor all contractual timelines.

5. Planning, Technical Coordination & ERP Integration

  • Enforce Primavera/MSP and ERP-driven planning frameworks.
  • Ensure timely release of drawings and technical packages.
  • Manage resource loading, procurement trackers, and fabrication schedules.

6. Commercial & Cost Governance

  • Monitor labor, material, and subcontractor costs.
  • Validate project EAC, margins, and cost exposures.
  • Ensure variations comply with FIDIC procedures.

7. Quality, Compliance & HSE

  • Enforce QA/QC processes and compliance with Saudi regulations and ISO systems.
  • Reduce NCRs, defects, and rework.

8. Leadership & Workforce Management

  • Build structured operational discipline and high-performance culture.
  • Mentor project and production teams, ensuring effective reporting and escalation flows.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 1218+ years in fit-out/manufacturing operations.
  • Strong background in operations, project management, and contract administration.
  • Solid FIDIC experience.
  • KSA experience preferred.
