Operations Manager (Bulk)- Dubai

On behalf of our client, a well-established international bulk shipping group, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their Dubai office.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a maritime professional with operational experience to take on a leadership role. You will head a small operations department responsible for the efficient management of a fleet of bulk vessels of various sizes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the bulk vessel fleet
• Oversee scheduling, route planning, and operational efficiency
• Coordinate with vessel masters, port authorities, and clients
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety standards
• Build and develop a capable operations team
• Work closely with the Head of Chartering to optimize fleet deployment
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in maritime operations management
• Seagoing background - a significant advantage
• In-depth knowledge of bulk shipping operations and procedures
