As our organization continues to grow within the LVMH group, we now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our Perth store as a Client Advisor on a full-time basis.

Overview

The Operations Manager for Kuwait & Qatar will be responsible for leading Retail Operations across both markets. This role focuses on identifying and implementing process improvements, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations, and fostering operational excellence. The Manager will be a decisive and collaborative leader, aiming to maximize the performance of a motivated and engaged team. This position aligns with the Tiffany Global Service Philosophy by building connections, trust, and exceeding expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Retail Operations (30%): Oversee store operations, including stock control, audit compliance, and training for operations staff and leaders. Develop consistent standards, identify improvements, and ensure adherence to policies. Lead price changes, re-classes, and conduct monthly audits.
  • Talent/Line Management (15%): Support and manage direct and dotted-line reports through performance management, coaching, and career development. Foster cross-functional collaboration and build talent pipelines.
  • Third-Party Vendor Management (10%): Manage relationships with delivery companies and other third-party vendors, ensuring service standards are met and addressing any issues.
  • Inventory Management and Movements (25%): Responsible for all aspects of product inventory, including physical inventory, price changes, and purchase order management. Oversee merchandise movement (inbound/outbound, international/local), customs, and hallmarking. Analyze merchandise flow and ensure stock accuracy.
  • Store Openings and Local Events (10%): Coordinate new store openings, closures, refurbishments, and local events, ensuring timely and safe execution, stock management, security, and health & safety compliance.
  • Financial Management (5%): Partner with the Regional Director and Finance Director to plan and manage Retail Operations expenses for Kuwait/Qatar, providing reporting and analysis.
  • IT Support Coordination (5%): Liaise with Regional IT teams for local retail and office support, including hardware procurement and system setups.

Qualifications:Required:

  • Strong business acumen, management, and organizational skills.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (near fluent).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Previous Line Management experience.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of JD Edwards software/RF.
  • Familiarity with local import/export regulations and processes.
  • Retail industry experience.
  • Microsoft Proficient.
