About Rentify

Rentify is building a simpler, more flexible rental experience for tenants and landlords in the UAE. We help partners digitise rent operations, onboard tenants faster, and run rent collection with clear tracking and reliable payouts.

The role

We're hiring an Operations Manager to run day-to-day operations across property onboarding, tenant billing, collections monitoring, and issue resolution. This is a hands-on role that sits at the centre of our property manager relationships and our customer success execution.

You should have lived in Dubai and understand the real-world friction in renting here (documentation, coordination with property managers, payment follow-ups, timing, and tenant support).

What you will do

Property onboarding and account setup

  • Work directly with property managers (on-ground and remote) to onboard their buildings and units on Rentify.
  • Ensure unit data is complete, accurate, and maintained (tenancy details, rent schedules, landlord payout details where applicable).
  • Coordinate onboarding checklists, timelines, and follow-ups until buildings are fully live.

Tenant billing and customer success direction

  • Direct the Customer Success team on who needs to be billed, when reminders should be sent, and what follow-ups are required.
  • Maintain a clear view of tenants by status (new onboarding, upcoming due, overdue, issues pending) and drive closure.

Collections and landlord remittance monitoring

  • Monitor rent collections daily/weekly and track exceptions (failed payments, partial payments, delays).
  • Coordinate internally to ensure remittances to landlords follow the agreed schedule and that any exceptions are flagged early with a clear action plan.

Tenant issue resolution

  • Help tenants resolve onboarding or billing issues quickly (missing docs, incorrect schedules, payment failures, account mismatches).
  • Own escalations, coordinate with product/tech when needed, and ensure the tenant gets a clear resolution and timeline.

Systems, records, and reporting

  • Maintain clean, auditable records across onboarding, billing schedules, collections, and payouts.
  • Build and run simple operational dashboards and trackers (daily status, ageing, exceptions, turnaround times).
  • Improve SOPs and checklists so operations scale cleanly.
What we're looking for
  • 69 years of experiencein operations, customer operations, fintech ops, proptech, payments, marketplaces, or a related role.
  • Dubai experience is required(you've lived here and understand how renting works in practice).
  • Strong coordination skills with external stakeholders (property managers, landlords, vendors) and internal teams.
  • High ownership and follow-through. You are proactive and comfortable working without heavy supervision.
  • Excellent with systems and records: CRMs, spreadsheets, Airtable/Notion, ticketing tools, workflow tracking.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and reconciliations (collections, payment status, exception tracking).
  • Clear communicator, calm under pressure, and focused on closing loops.
  • High energy and someone who thrives on working with people
  • Experience of working in a startup environment
Nice to have
  • Experience in rent collection, property management operations, payment operations, or finance operations.
  • Familiarity with compliance basics (KYC, data handling, audit-friendly record keeping).
  • Fluent in Arabic
