Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Operations Manager to lead our comprehensive manufacturing operations, which encompass Stainless Steel Custom Fabrication and commercial refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving operational excellence, maximizing production efficiency, and ensuring delivery adherence to stringent hospitality-grade quality standards and project timelines.

Responsibilities:

1.Performance Leadership: Design and implement integrated production plans to ensure high throughput and on-time delivery for complex, integrated kitchen projects.

2.Operational Excellence & CI: Spearhead Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives on the shop floor to streamline workflows, minimize waste (Waste Reduction), and elevate Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

3.Quality Governance & Compliance: Directly supervise Quality Control (QC Checkpoints) to ensure that all fabrication, especially Stainless-Steel welding and finishing, adheres to HACCP/NSF standards and ISO requirements for durability and hygiene.

4.Resource and Budget Management: Efficiently manage operating budgets, and strategically plan Capital Expenditure (CapEx) for machinery.

5.Workforce Development: Identify specialized training needs for technical staff (TIG Welders, Refrigeration Technicians) and mentor production leadership to maintain high safety and technical competency standards.

6.Value Chain Management: Effectively coordinating between Procurement, Engineering, and Sales departments to ensure alignment of raw materials (especially Stainless Steel) with manufacturing requirements and project timelines.

7.Safety & Compliance Oversight: Ensure strict adherence to local and international EHS regulations (Environmental, Health, and Safety). Champion a zero-incident safety culture across all departments, managing risk assessments and ensuring proper certification for hazardous equipment handling and waste disposal.

Qualifications:

1.Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

2.Experience from 7 years to 10 years at least 5 years in Operational Management.

3.Certificate in lean/six sigma is a plus.

4.Experience in Stainless-steel industry (Kitchen equipment is a plus)

5.Residence of Giza governance.
