Operations Manager

Our client is looking for an Operations Manager to manage commercial post-fixture activities and oversee vessel and port operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage post-fixture operations and voyage execution.

- Oversee vessel movements and port activities.

- Coordinate with vessels, charterers, shippers, receivers and agents.

- Handle shipping documentation including SOFs, Bills of Lading, LOIs and Draft Surveys.

- Manage laytime calculations, demurrage and other commercial matters.

- Resolve operational issues and ensure voyages run efficiently and on schedule.

Requirements:

- 5+ years commercial post-fixture experience within a ship owner/operator.

- Experience handling fertiliser products is required.

- Strong knowledge of laytime, charter parties and shipping documentation.

- Commercially minded with strong communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
