About the role
As an Operations Specialist, you will support fund operations, brokerage and custody activities while working closely with investment, client coverage and technology teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to build expertise across investment funds, digital assets, operational controls and process improvement within a regulated financial institution.

This is a 12-month contract position based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

Fund Operations

. Process fund subscriptions, redemptions, transfers and other investor transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

. Perform reconciliations and investigate exceptions, discrepancies and operational breaks.

. Support NAV review and fund accounting oversight activities.

. Coordinate with portfolio managers, fund administrators, transfer agents and other service providers to ensure smooth operational execution.

. Support fund audits, regulatory reporting and fund-related operational projects.

. Support fund launches, product enhancements and other operational initiatives.

. Ensure adherence to internal controls, operational procedures and regulatory requirements.

Brokerage & Custody Operations

. Support client onboarding and account maintenance activities.

. Process, monitor and reconcile fiat and digital asset transfers.

. Perform daily cash, position and digital asset reconciliations and resolve reconciliation breaks in a timely manner.

. Support custody, staking and fee-related operational activities.

. Prepare operational, regulatory and management reports.

. Support internal audits, external audits and regulatory reporting requirements.

. Monitor operational exceptions and ensure timely escalation and resolution of issues.

. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to support efficient and controlled operational processes.

Projects & Process Improvement

. Participate in operational projects and business initiatives.

. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through process enhancement and automation.

. Support the implementation, testing and enhancement of operational systems and workflows.

. Assist in documenting operational procedures, controls and best practices.

. Support data quality, reporting and process optimization initiatives across operations functions.

Our ideal candidate:

. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.

. 1-3 years of relevant experience in fund administration, investment operations, securities operations, banking operations, custody, brokerage operations or a related financial services environment.

. Understanding of investment funds, reconciliations, cash management and operational processes.

. An interest in digital assets and emerging financial technologies prior exposure to digital asset or cryptocurrency operations would be advantageous but is not required.

. Strong Excel skills including data analysis, reconciliations and reporting familiarity with Power Query, VBA, Python, SQL or workflow automation tools would be an advantage.

. Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.

. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
