Operations Specialist - Key Requirements

Qualification: Minimum bachelor's degree in information technology

Certifications: Preferred Security ISO Certification, ITIL Certification.

Experience: Minimum 8+ Years Experience same Filed.

Security Standards & Audits: Knowledge of ISO security standards, security audits, and compliance requirements.
Cybersecurity: Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat modelling, vulnerability management, and security best practices.
Incident & Problem Management: Experience handling security/production incidents, RCA, problem management, and corrective actions.
Risk Assessment: Ability to identify and assess physical, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operational risks.
Infrastructure & Containers: Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and production environments.
Monitoring & Observability: Experience with application/infrastructure monitoring, alerting, dashboards, logs, performance monitoring, and proactive issue detection.
Network & WAF Security: Good understanding of network security and WAF administration, with experience coordinating with network/security teams.
High Availability & DR: Understanding of HA, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and resiliency testing.
IT Operations & ITSM: Experience in operational support, SLA management, service availability, incident/change/problem management, and RFC processes.
Change & Release Management: Experience planning, implementing, and validating production changes with minimum service impact.
Troubleshooting & Performance: Strong troubleshooting, performance analysis, capacity management, and production issue resolution skills.
Automation: Knowledge of automation and scripting using tools such as Ansible, Shell scripting, or similar technologies.
Vulnerability & Patch Management: Experience with security patching, vulnerability remediation, system hardening, and compliance.
Documentation & Coordination: Ability to maintain SOPs/runbooks and coordinate effectively with application, infrastructure, network, security, and vendor teams.
AI & Continuous Improvement: Good understanding of AI technologies and their application in monitoring, automation, incident prediction, and operational improvement.
