Operations Specialist - UAEN

About the Role

Our client is seeking an UAEN Operations Specialist to join their team who will be responsible to support the Operations Manager in ensuring the efficient execution of banking operations, regulatory compliance, operational controls, and coordination between business and back-office functions.

About the Requirements

• Ensure timely and error-free processing of banking transactions, including: Remittances, Loans, Deposits, Trade Finance and Treasury Operations.
• Assist in the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of operational policies and procedures.
• Monitor and report on key operational metrics and performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable banking regulations, internal policies, and operational standards.
• Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks.
• Meet the required customer service quality standards for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date records of all operational transactions and activities.

About You

• 3 to 5 years of experience in banking operations, preferably within a wholesale banking environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Good understanding of banking operations and processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
