We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Supervisor to oversee and manage day-to-day logistics operations across our cold chain delivery network in Dubai. The role is responsible for ensuring seamless coordination of transport, warehouse, and last-mile delivery operations while maintaining strict compliance with temperature-controlled logistics standards, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
- Supervise daily cold chain delivery operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment across multiple GCC countries.
- Monitor fleet utilization, routing, and scheduling to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with temperature requirements and monitor cold chain integrity from storage to final delivery.
- Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, vehicle turnaround, and cold chain compliance.
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Lead, train, and manage drivers, warehouse staff, and dispatch teams.
- Allocate daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to company SOPs.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and customer service.
Customer & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the point of contact for clients on delivery schedules, delays, and escalations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, customer service, warehouse, fleet management) to ensure smooth operations.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all operations comply with Dubai transport regulations.
- Implement health, safety, and food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, etc.) specific to cold chain logistics.
- Maintain accurate operational documentation and audit readiness.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify gaps in processes and propose operational improvements.
- Support management in implementing logistics technology (GPS, temperature trackers, TMS/WMS).
- Assist in cost control, route optimization, and resource utilization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- 35 years experience in logistics operations, preferably in cold chain / temperature-controlled deliveries.
- Strong understanding of GCC logistics practices and compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with fleet management systems, route planning, and warehouse operations.
- Leadership and team management skills with ability to handle multi-country operations.
