Operator - Shift Controller Semi Finished (Steel Industry)

Must Have Steel Industry Experience

Minimum Education Qualification (Education Degree)

Higher Secondary in Engineering

Any preferred professional training

In-depth technical knowledge of billet quality

Professional Experience (Must haves)

Around 5 Years in a Steel Plant as a billet handling operator

Previous Experience/exposure Recommendations

Around 3 Years with billets caster industry having gas cutting system

Essential Duties and Responsibilities(Contd)

• Ensures the effective implementation of operational policies covering all areas of the casting plant so that all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a cost -effective quality product to RM operation.
• Carries out timely check on the billet quality to ensure consistent product quality
• Sample collection by gas cutting.
• Co-ordinates with QC to ensure that the quality and quantity of the product delivered are consistent.
• NQA Job Responsibility :
• Shall be responsible for performing semi-finished product identification, segregation, handling & storage as specified in the Emirates Steel QS Program to ensure compliance to applicable Standards, ASME Code and Customer requirements
