Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist, based in Jeddah. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting thorough eye examinations, diagnosing and treating visual impairments, prescribing corrective lenses, and identifying signs of eye diseases. Additional duties include providing expert advice on eye care products, assisting patients with the fitting and care of eyewear, and maintaining detailed patient records. The Optometrist will collaborate with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality eye care services.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in performing comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing visual impairments
• Candidates must hold an Optometrist Specialist classification from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
• Expertise in prescribing and fitting corrective lenses, including eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Strong knowledge of ocular diseases and their treatment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and in an interdisciplinary medical environment
• Prior experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is a plus
