Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Optometrist at Prime Vision Clinic in Al Asimah, Kuwait. The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, and prescribe corrective lenses. Responsibilities include evaluating visual needs through vision tests, recommending treatments, and educating patients on eye care. Collaboration with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes is a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in conducting eye exams, diagnosing refractive errors, and prescribing eyewear
• Knowledge of managing ocular diseases and providing pre- and post-operative care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to educate patients and collaborate with medical professionals
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to identify and address eye health issues
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree or equivalent and a valid optometry license
• Experience in a clinical or surgical setting is preferred
• Commitment to continued professional development and staying updated on advancements in optometry
• Familiarity with advanced diagnostic and imaging tools is an advantage
