Oracle Application Support Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Application Support Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in application support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting Oracle-based applications, ensuring system stability, performance, and timely resolution of incidents in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide application support for Oracle systems (Forms, Reports, SQL, PL/SQL).

Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, defects, and performance problems.

Develop and maintain database objects such as procedures, functions, and triggers.

Support Oracle Forms and Reports configuration and deployment.

Perform database tuning, query optimization, and performance monitoring.

Handle incident and problem management in line with ITIL processes.

Implement service requests and support release deployments.

Test new releases and ensure smooth deployment into production environments.

Support integrations using Web Services and EJB (WebLogic platform).

Maintain documentation of support activities and system configurations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Oracle application support.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Oracle Forms and Reports.

Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

Experience in database design, coding, and documentation.

Experience in high availability and mission-critical environments.

Knowledge of backup, recovery, auditing, and journaling.

Strong understanding of DB objects, performance tuning, and query optimization.

Experience with integration using Web Services and EJB (WebLogic).

Strong knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident & Problem Management).

Fluent in Arabic is required.
