The Enterprise Applications Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, support, and optimization of enterprise applications, including Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Fusion Cloud SaaS, and associated databases, integrations, and cloud infrastructure. This role ensures system availability, performance, security, compliance, and data integrity, while supporting business continuity and organizational standards.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Application Administration
- Administer, maintain, and support enterprise applications to ensure reliable operation and data integrity.
- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion Cloud SaaS environments.
- Assist senior team members with system upgrades, patches, maintenance activities, and functional enhancements.
- Support and manage integrations between Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion Cloud.
System Monitoring & Performance
- Perform routine system health checks, updates, and backups to maintain system integrity and performance.
- Monitor system performance, analyze usage trends and system load, and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
- Support system and business continuity testing following patches, upgrades, and infrastructure changes.
Security & Compliance
- Manage user access, roles, security profiles, and permissions across enterprise applications.
- Ensure data security, system integrity, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support audit activities, implement audit recommendations, and assist with audit reviews.
Database & Cloud Administration
- Administer Oracle Databases (on-premises and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), including backup, recovery, monitoring, and basic performance tuning.
- Provide basic administration and support for Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Manage and monitor Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) resources, including compute, storage, networking, and DBaaS services.
Incident Management & Support
- Log, track, escalate, and document incidents and resolutions using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support for system outages, upgrades, and critical incidents.
- Work closely with third-party vendors to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Documentation, Training & Collaboration
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date technical documentation for enterprise applications and related processes.
- Provide training and functional support to end users and internal support teams during system releases and enhancements.
- Assess risks related to system changes and communicate appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Assist with data migration activities, validation, and testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent certifications and experience.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or enterprise application administration.
- Hands-on experience supporting enterprise systems such as financial, HR, and supply chain applications, cloud platforms, monitoring tools, and scripting technologies.
Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- Strong experience administering Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion Cloud SaaS.
- Proficiency in Oracle Database administration with working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) IaaS and PaaS services.
- Knowledge of security best practices, including SSO, encryption, access controls, performance tuning, and disaster recovery procedures.
