Key Responsibilities

Environment Management & Administration

  • Manage Oracle Cloud environments (Development, Test, UAT, Production) across SaaS and PaaS tenancies for multiple client engagements.

  • Coordinate and execute quarterly Oracle Cloud patch and release updates, including pre-patch impact assessments and post-patch validation testing.

  • Monitor environment health, performance, and capacity; raise and manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs) through My Oracle Support (MOS).

  • Manage environment refresh cycles, including cloning production to non-production environments and ensuring data masking requirements are met.

  • Maintain environment documentation including configuration registers, topology diagrams, and change logs.

  • Coordinate with Oracle Cloud Operations and client IT teams on planned maintenance windows and downtime communications.

Identity & Access Management (IDCS / OCI IAM)

  • Administer Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) and OCI IAM, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, group management, and role assignments.

  • Configure and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations between Oracle Cloud applications and client identity providers (e.g. Azure AD, ADFS, Okta) using SAML and OIDC protocols.

  • Manage Oracle Fusion application roles, data roles, and abstract roles, ensuring principle of least privilege is enforced across all environments.

  • Conduct periodic access reviews and User Access Audits (UAAs) in line with SOX, GDPR, and client-specific security policies.

  • Troubleshoot access and authentication issues across IDCS, OCI, and Oracle Fusion applications in a timely manner.

  • Implement and maintain Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policies and Adaptive Security controls within IDCS.

OCI Infrastructure & Security

  • Administer OCI tenancy configurations including compartments, policies, Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), security lists, and network security groups.

  • Manage OCI IAM policies, dynamic groups, and cross-tenancy access controls.

  • Monitor and respond to OCI security findings, implement recommendations from Cloud Guard and Security Advisor.

  • Manage OCI Object Storage, Vault (key management), Certificates, and Notifications services.

  • Support the administration of OCI-hosted services including API Gateway, Functions, and Streaming where used in client solutions.

Oracle Fusion SaaS Administration

  • Perform functional setup manager (FSM) administration tasks and manage opt-in feature configurations for new quarterly releases.

  • Administer Oracle Fusion reporting tools including OTBI, BI Publisher, and FRS — managing report schedules, output formats, and data access.

  • Configure and maintain Oracle Fusion notification templates, workflow rules, and approval hierarchies.

  • Support the setup and administration of Oracle Fusion modules including Financials, Procurement, and HCM where applicable.

  • Manage file-based data import (FBDI) templates and scheduled ESS (Enterprise Scheduler Service) jobs.

Release & Change Management

  • Own the environment and release management process, including maintaining a release calendar and coordinating change windows with client stakeholders.

  • Manage transport and migration of configuration artefacts between environments using FSM export/import and PaaS deployment tools.

  • Document and follow change management procedures in line with ITIL best practices.

  • Maintain and improve runbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all administrative activities.

Requirements

  • 4–8 years of experience in Oracle Cloud administration covering Fusion SaaS and/or OCI environments.

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle IDCS and/or OCI IAM — user management, SSO, MFA, and role administration.

  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion security model: application roles, data roles, abstract roles, and HCM data security profiles.

  • Proven experience managing Oracle Cloud environment lifecycles including patch management and environment refresh.

  • Familiarity with OCI core services: IAM, VCN, Compute, Object Storage, Vault, Cloud Guard.

  • Experience raising and managing Oracle Service Requests (SRs) via My Oracle Support (MOS).

  • Working knowledge of SSO standards: SAML 2.0, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0.

  • Ability to write basic SQL for data validation, user access reporting, and audit queries.

Soft Skills & Competencies

  • Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to change management and documentation.

  • Strong communication skills — able to engage confidently with client IT and security teams.

  • Proactive in identifying risks and issues before they impact delivery or operations.

  • Able to manage competing priorities across multiple client environments simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Cloud certifications such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations, OCI Administrator, or Oracle Fusion Security Administrator.

  • Experience with identity governance tools or integration with enterprise IDP solutions (Azure AD, Okta, Ping Identity).

  • Familiarity with audit and compliance frameworks relevant to financial services: SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001, FCA guidelines.

  • Experience in a managed services or multi-client support environment.
