Senior functional consultant for implementation and steady-state AMS support of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and Oracle EBS Financials for an enterprise Middle East client.
Key requirements
- 12-15 years of relevant experience in Oracle EBS and Fusion Cloud Financials.
- Strong functional expertise, evidenced at project level, in:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Support / AMS experience is mandatory, alongside proven implementation experience.
- Must have experience delivering projects in the Middle East (ME) region.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective solutions.
- Hands-on experience in Solution Workshops, application configuration and setups, and OUM documentation and project deliverables.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills in English.
Managed services delivery requirements (mandatory)
- Current or recent delivery in a Managed Services (AMS) engagement, in a lead role, covering both Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion.
- Steady-state AMS support experience under contracted SLAs. Post-go-live hypercare or warranty support alone does not qualify.
- Experience working in an onsite-offshore delivery model, including leading a team.
- Involvement in support transition, handover, and knowledge transfer (taking over an application from, or handing it over to, another team or vendor), including runbook and known-error documentation.
- Daily use of a ticketing / ITSM tool (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Jira Service Management) with priority-based ticket resolution against SLA targets.
- Ownership of Incident and Problem Management, including root-cause analysis of recurring issues.
- Direct coordination with end users through ticket investigation, testing, and closure.
- Experience raising and driving Oracle Service Requests (SRs) on My Oracle Support through to resolution, including severity management and escalation.
- Good working knowledge of ITIL-aligned support processes.
Working knowledge expected
- Middle East statutory practice: VAT configuration (UAE/KSA), e-invoicing awareness (e.g., ZATCA for KSA), and withholding tax where applicable.
- Subledger Accounting (SLA), the period-close process end to end, and subledger-to-GL reconciliation.
- Payments and banking: payment process profiles, bank file formats / host-to-host integration awareness, and bank statement auto-reconciliation in Cash Management.
- FBDI data loads and OTBI / BI Publisher report basics from a functional standpoint.
- Oracle Fusion quarterly release cycle: impact assessment and regression testing of quarterly updates as part of AMS routine.
Preferred
- Candidates who started on Oracle EBS Financials and transitioned to Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
- Additional modules such as Tax, Accounting Hub, and Expense Management.
- Exposure to cross-functional processes involving Procurement, Projects, or Supply Chain modules.
- Ability to work independently with business users and senior stakeholders.
