Oracle EBS HCM Techno-Functional Consultant
Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Oracle EBS HCM Techno-Functional Consultant is responsible for the implementation, configuration, customization, support, and optimization of Oracle E-Business Suite Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. The role combines strong functional expertise in Oracle HCM modules with solid technical capabilities to deliver end-to-end HCM solutions, support business transformation initiatives, and ensure alignment with organizational HR and payroll requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and participate in Oracle EBS HCM implementation, upgrade, enhancement, and support projects.
- Conduct business workshops and gather functional requirements from HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders.
- Configure and support Oracle HCM Core modules including Core HR, Payroll, SSHR, and OTL.
- Analyze business requirements and design functional and technical solutions aligned with Oracle best practices.
- Configure organization structures, employee lifecycle processes, payroll elements, absence management, time management, and self-service transactions.
- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, setup guides, and test scenarios.
- Develop and support Oracle HCM technical customizations and extensions.
- Configure and maintain Fast Formulas, User Hooks, Personalizations, Oracle Workflow components, and OAF customizations.
- Develop SQL and PL/SQL solutions to support reporting, integrations, data migration, and custom business requirements.
- Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, deployment, and hypercare activities.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide production support.
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to support integrations with third-party systems and enterprise applications.
- Support reporting requirements, data migration activities, and system enhancements.
- Provide end-user support, knowledge transfer, and training where required.
- Ensure delivery quality, documentation standards, and compliance with Oracle development and implementation methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Human Resources Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Oracle EBS HCM certifications.
- Additional certifications in Oracle Applications, HR Systems, or Payroll solutions.
Minimum Experience:
- +7 years of Oracle EBS HCM experience.
- Proven experience in Oracle HCM implementation, enhancement, and support projects.
- Full lifecycle Oracle EBS HCM implementations.
- Hands-on experience in both functional and technical aspects of Oracle HCM.
- Experience working directly with business users, HR teams, payroll teams, and project stakeholders.
