Oracle Fusion Finance Techno Functional Consultant

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Techno-Functional Consultant with a strong technical foundation (70% Technical, 30% Functional) to design, build, and support complex enterprise solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing end-to-end integrations between Oracle Fusion Financials and external source systems, building complex BI Publisher (BIP) reports, and providing critical functional and troubleshooting support across core finance modules. Expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and SQL/PL-SQL is required, with hands-on experience in Oracle APEX highly recommended.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Development & Integration

• Architect, build, and maintain real-time and batch integrations between Oracle Fusion Financials and upstream/downstream source systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP web services, and FBDI/HDL.
• Develop complex, pixel-perfect BI Publisher (BIP) data models, templates (RTF, Excel), and OTBI analyses for operational and financial compliance reporting.
• Build custom extensions, data staging interfaces, and administrative dashboards using Oracle APEX where applicable.
• Write optimized SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions to support complex reporting, interface validation, and data reconciliation tasks.

Functional Consulting & Business Support

• Support core Oracle Fusion Financial modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management (CM), and Fixed Assets (FA).
• Analyze business requirements to translate finance business logic into robust technical architectures and integration patterns.
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders and business users during UAT, cutover planning, and post-go-live hypercare support.
• Log, escalate, and drive resolution for Oracle Service Requests (SRs) directly with Oracle Support for core product defects or patches.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

• Solid hands-on experience working with Oracle Applications, with at least 2+ years dedicated to Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.

Technical Depth:

• Advanced proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning.
• Strong hands-on experience building complex BIP Reports (custom data models, multi-level grouping, bursting) and OTBI dashboards.
• Proven track record implementing OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) flows integrating third-party source systems with Oracle Cloud ERP.
• Experience with FBDI automation and REST/SOAP APIs.

Functional Knowledge:

• Solid functional understanding of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) accounting lifecycles in Oracle Fusion.

Desirable / Recommended:

• Strong working knowledge of Oracle APEX for building auxiliary portals, interface staging apps, or manual data correction tools.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or Oracle Financials Cloud certifications.

Education :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
