Job Description

Next Ventures is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Consultant with solution design experience for a contract role with our client in the Middle East.

Start Date: April

Location: Dubai

Duration: 3 months + extensions

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Oracle Fusion HCM design phase for a transformation programme migrating from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud for an end client in the Middle East.
  • Facilitate design workshops with HR, talent, and business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements across the HCM lifecycle.
  • Translate business and HR requirements into Oracle Fusion HCM solution designs aligned with standard cloud capabilities.
  • Define and design end-to-end HR processes covering hire-to-retire, talent management, workforce management, and payroll operations.
  • Clearly articulate the value of Oracle Fusion HCM capabilities and best practices, ensuring the client maximises platform functionality.
  • Challenge and minimise customisations, guiding stakeholders towards standard Oracle Fusion HCM features wherever possible.
  • Where standard functionality does not meet requirements, propose practical workarounds or alternative business processes aligned with Oracle best practice.
  • Produce solution design documentation, functional specifications, and process maps for the HCM workstream.
  • Work closely with ERP, integration, and technical teams to ensure HCM solutions integrate effectively with the broader Oracle Fusion landscape.
  • Provide design leadership and functional guidance to client stakeholders and programme teams during the design phase.
  • Required Experience
  • Proven experience as an Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant or Solution Lead.
  • Hands-on experience leading design phases for Oracle Fusion HCM implementations (non-negotiable).
  • Experience supporting Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud transformation programmes.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end HR and talent management processes within enterprise environments.
  • Experience facilitating HR workshops, requirement gathering, and solution design sessions with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate HR business requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion HCM solutions aligned with Oracle best practice.
  • Experience managing customisation vs standard functionality decisions and proposing viable alternatives where necessary.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and design documentation skills.
