Client is seeking an experienced Oracle Hyperion Consultant to design, implement, support, and optimize Oracle Hyperion EPM solutions. The role involves close collaboration with finance, accounting, and IT teams to deliver scalable, high-performing planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, configure, and support Oracle Hyperion EPM applications, including:
- Hyperion Planning
- Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
- Hyperion Essbase
- Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management (FDMEE)
- Hyperion Smart View
- Gather and analyze business requirements from finance and accounting stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain financial models, business rules, calculation scripts, and metadata.
- Perform data integrations between Hyperion and source systems such as Oracle ERP, SAP, or other financial systems.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation, and statutory reporting processes.
- Optimize system performance, application security, and data integrity.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities related to Hyperion.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors during upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
- 58 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion EPM solutions.
- Strong expertise in Essbase, Planning, HFM, FDMEE, and Smart View.
- Good understanding of financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting.
- Experience with data integration, metadata management, and automation.
- Strong SQL and scripting knowledge (Essbase calc scripts, MaxL).
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle Hyperion or Oracle EPM Cloud certification.
- Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud (PBCS, FCCS, EPBCS).
- Prior experience in ERP integrations (Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, SAP).
- Exposure to financial audits and regulatory reporting.
- Experience working in large enterprise or consulting environments.
