Job Description:
Required Technical Skill Set
Strong hands-on experience in:
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- OIC adapters: REST, SOAP, FTP, DB, ERP/HCM Adapter
Experience with:
- Oracle Fusion Applications (HCM/Payroll) integrations
- FBDI, HDL, and BI Reports extraction
Knowledge of:
- XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON
- Web services and API security (OAuth, Basic Auth)
Experience in:
- Error handling frameworks and fault management
- Integration performance tuning
Key Responsibilities
Integration Support & Incident Management
- Provide L2/L3 support for OIC integrations in a 24x7 support model
- Monitor OIC integrations, identify failures, and perform root cause analysis (RCA)
- Resolve integration failures, data issues, and performance bottlenecks
- Work closely with functional and business teams to troubleshoot integration issues
- Maintain incident logs, resolution notes, and knowledge repository
OIC Development & Enhancements
- Design, develop, and maintain:
- App-driven orchestrations
- Scheduled integrations
- REST/SOAP-based integrations
- Implement minor enhancements and change requests (CRs) for existing integrations
- Modify and optimize integrations for performance and reliability improvements
- Develop integrations using:
- Fusion SOAP & REST APIs
- FBDI/HDL-based data loads
- Handle file-based integrations (FTP/SFTP, UCM)
OIC Administration
- Perform day-to-day administration of OIC environments
- Manage:
- Connections and adapters
- Security certificates and keys
- User roles and access controls
- Monitor:
- Integration health and throughput
- Scheduled jobs and message queues
- Perform environment migrations (Dev → Test → Prod) using CI/CD or migrations tools
- Manage patching, upgrades, and platform health checks
Integration Monitoring & Governance
- Proactively monitor integrations and handle alerts and exceptions
- Ensure adherence to:
- Integration design standards
- Naming conventions and best practices
- Implement logging, error handling, and notification frameworks
- Maintain audit and compliance documentation
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work with:
- Functional consultants (HCM, Payroll)
- Business users
- External vendors
- Participate in weekly service reviews and SLA reporting
- Provide status reports for incidents, problem tickets, and enhancements
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Maintain:
- Integration design documents (IDDs)
- Runbooks and SOPs
- Deployment and rollback procedures
- Prepare knowledge transfer (KT) artifacts for team continuity
