Next Ventures is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud SCM/Procurement Consultant with solution design experience for a contract role with our client in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Oracle Fusion SCM / Procurement design phase for a transformation programme migrating from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud for an end client in the Middle East.
- Facilitate design workshops with supply chain, procurement, operations, and business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into Oracle Fusion SCM and Procurement solution designs aligned to standard cloud capabilities.
- Define and design end-to-end supply chain and procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, inventory management, order fulfilment, and supplier collaboration.
- Clearly articulate the value of Oracle Fusion SCM and Procurement functionality, ensuring the client maximises the platform's standard capabilities.
- Challenge unnecessary customisations, guiding stakeholders toward standard Oracle Fusion functionality and best practices.
- Where gaps exist, propose workarounds, process improvements, or alternative approaches aligned with Oracle's standard functionality.
- Produce solution design documentation, process maps, and functional specifications for the SCM and Procurement workstreams.
- Collaborate with ERP, finance, integration, and technical teams to ensure solutions align with the broader Oracle Fusion architecture.
- Provide functional design leadership and advisory support to programme teams and senior stakeholders throughout the design phase.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience as an Oracle Fusion SCM or Procurement Functional Consultant or Solution Lead.
- Hands-on experience leading design phases for Oracle Fusion SCM / Procurement implementations (non-negotiable).
- Experience supporting Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and procurement processes within enterprise environments.
- Experience facilitating client workshops, requirement gathering, and solution design sessions with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions aligned with best practice.
- Experience managing customisation vs standard functionality decisions and proposing viable alternatives where required.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and solution design documentation skills.
