The Order Fulfilment Specialist is responsible for maintaining end-to-end visibility of confirmed customer orders and coordinating their fulfilment through delivery. The role maintains a consolidated order book, follows up with relevant functions, identifies fulfilment risks and ensures timely escalation and communication. It covers Export, Local HoReCa and Retail channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Maintain one accurate and updated order book covering all confirmed customer orders.
- Verify that sales orders created by Customer Service contain the required information and match confirmed customer requirements.
- Monitor open, overdue, partially fulfilled, amended and cancelled orders until closure.
- Coordinate with Planning to confirm product availability and realistic fulfilment dates.
- Follow-up with Production Planning and Material Planning on supply readiness and constraints.
- Coordinate with Logistics, Export and Warehousing regarding dispatch readiness, loading schedules and shipment status.
- Reflect credit or commercial holds communicated by Finance or Customer Service in order-status reporting.
- Communicate confirmed dates, shortages, constraints and order-status changes to Commercial and other stakeholders.
- Identify and escalate risks that may affect customer delivery dates.
- Coordinate priorities when Export, HORECA and Retail orders compete for available stock or production capacity.
- Prepare regular order-status, backlog and fulfilment reports.
- Support order-review meetings and document agreed actions.
- Analyze recurring causes of delays, shortages and order changes and recommend process improvements.
- Support the development of order-management workflows, cut-off rules and escalation procedures.
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in order fulfilment, supply-chain coordination, customer service or logistics.
- FMCG, food manufacturing or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Good understanding of the order-to-delivery process.
- ERP experience; Oracle experience is preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good written and spoken Arabic and English.
- Export and Incoterms knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Clear communication and timely escalation.
- Ability to challenge incomplete or unrealistic commitments professionally.
- Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
