Job Summary

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced OT/IoT Security Engineer – L3 to engineer, implement, monitor, and support cybersecurity controls across Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), IoT, and connected smart systems within a complex technology environment in the UAE.

The role requires hands-on expertise in OT/IoT security architecture, asset visibility, network segmentation, vulnerability management, security monitoring, threat detection, and integration with enterprise SOC/MDR capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer and support security controls across OT, ICS, IoT, and connected technology environments.
• Perform OT/IoT asset discovery, inventory, classification, risk assessment, and security monitoring.
• Implement and maintain secure network segmentation, zones/conduits, firewall policies, and controlled IT/OT connectivity.
• Configure and support OT/IoT security monitoring and asset visibility platforms.
• Monitor and analyze security events involving industrial systems, IoT devices, controllers, gateways, sensors, and connected infrastructure.
• Assess vulnerabilities and security risks while considering operational availability, safety, and system constraints.
• Support secure integration of OT/IoT environments with SIEM, SOC/MDR, network security, IAM, and other cybersecurity platforms.
• Support detection engineering and development of monitoring use cases for OT/IoT-specific threats.
• Perform L3 troubleshooting and support investigation of complex OT/IoT security events and incidents.
• Review device configurations, communication flows, remote access, vendor connectivity, and security controls.
• Work closely with network, infrastructure, ELV/smart systems, cybersecurity, vendors, and engineering teams.
• Maintain technical documentation, security standards, architecture diagrams, asset inventories, and operational procedures.

Required Experience

• 6+ years of cybersecurity experience, including hands-on experience securing OT/ICS and/or IoT environments.
• Strong understanding of OT/ICS architecture, IoT ecosystems, network segmentation, industrial networks, and IT/OT convergence.
• Experience with OT security technologies such as Nozomi Networks, Claroty, Dragos, Microsoft Defender for IoT, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of industrial/OT protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, OPC/OPC UA, MQTT, DNP3, or equivalent.
• Experience with asset discovery, vulnerability management, network monitoring, secure remote access, and security controls for OT/IoT environments.
• Experience integrating OT/IoT monitoring with SIEM/SOC/MDR and enterprise cybersecurity platforms.
• Strong understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, network segmentation, Zero Trust, and secure IT/OT connectivity.
• Knowledge of OT/ICS security frameworks such as IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and incident investigation capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related discipline.
• Experience securing smart infrastructure, BMS, connected facilities, IoT, or large integrated technology environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise SOC/MDR monitoring of OT/IoT environments.
• UAE/GCC experience is advantageous.
• Certifications such as GICSP, GRID, IEC 62443, CISSP, Security+, or relevant vendor certifications are preferred.
