Job Summary
Saudi German Hospitals Group is seeking an experienced and strategic OPD Director to lead and oversee the operations of the Outpatient Department (OPD) at our Jeddah facility. The role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, enhancing patient experience, optimizing clinic performance, and driving efficiency across all outpatient services.
The ideal candidate will have strong healthcare operations experience, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in managing outpatient services within a hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and performance of the Outpatient Department (OPD)
- Ensure smooth patient flow, clinic utilization, appointment management, and service efficiency
- Monitor and improve patient experience and satisfaction across all outpatient clinics
- Collaborate with medical, nursing, and support departments to ensure seamless operations
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and process improvements
- Monitor departmental KPIs, productivity, patient volumes, and operational performance
- Lead capacity planning and resource allocation to optimize clinic efficiency
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and quality standards
- Manage and support OPD managers, supervisors, and administrative teams
- Handle escalations, operational challenges, and patient-related concerns effectively
- Prepare operational reports and present performance updates to senior leadership
- Support digital transformation and process automation initiatives within outpatient services
