Outdoor Sales Supervisor in the Travel / Tourism sells travel packages, tours, and services by meeting clients face-to-face in their territory, building relationships with agents/businesses, generating leads, presenting solutions, negotiating deals, and managing accounts to meet sales targets, acting as a bridge between the client and company, and staying updated on travel trends.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Prospect and cold call to generate new leads in assigned territories (e.g., corporate clients, travel agencies).
- Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and sales visits at client premises.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers and partners.
Sales & Service Delivery:
- Sell travel packages, flights, accommodations, and other related services.
- Understand client needs, create customized itineraries, and provide product/service demonstrations.
- Handle inquiries, provide quotations, and manage bookings from initial contact to post-sale.
- Upsell and cross-sell services to maximize revenue.
Market & Strategy:
- Research market trends, competitors, and new product developments.
- Collaborate with marketing to build brand awareness and execute campaigns.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to identify opportunities.
Admin & Reporting:
- Update customer information and sales activities in CRM systems.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
