Role Overview:
We are hiring a skilled Overhead Crane Service Technicianto join our team in Saudi Arabia. This is a hands-on field-based role focused on ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of overhead crane systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-first approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on overhead cranes and related lifting equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system faults
- Conduct site inspections, service assessments, and repair works at client facilities
- Ensure accurate documentation of service reports and maintenance logs
- Liaise with customers to understand service needs and provide technical support
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures during all on-site activities
- Assist with crane system upgrades, retrofits, and new equipment commissioning when required
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in maintenance and repairof heavy equipment or industrial systems
- Technical diploma or vocational certification in mechanical/electrical/electromechanical disciplines preferred
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing overhead cranes (bridge cranes, gantry cranes, hoists)
- Demonstrated experience with crane controls, drives, motors, and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with control systems, sensors, VFDs, and PLCs is an advantage
- Hands-on field serviceexperience in industrial or construction environments
- Excellent customer serviceand communication skills
- Ability to work independently in various site conditions
- Familiarity with overhead cranesor lifting systems is a plus
Additional Information:
- The role requires physical work including climbing and working at heights
- Will involve travel within Saudi Arabia for field service assignments
- Flexibility for emergency service calls and overtime is expected
