Job Description

  • Identify and attend to minor mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues in plant equipment and machinery.
  • Perform first-level troubleshooting for breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and OEM service teams for major repairs.
  • Ensure daily, weekly, and preventive maintenance activities are carried out as per schedule.
  • Maintain records of breakdowns, repairs, and corrective actions.
  • Supervise operators, technicians, helpers, and contract workers.
  • Allocate duties and shifts based on production requirements.
  • Ensure operators are trained and competent to handle assigned equipment.
  • Enforce discipline, attendance, and work efficiency on site.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for plant and machinery operations.
  • Identify unsafe acts and conditions and take corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, and company safety standards.
