Packaging Development Senior Specialist

Role Objectives:

The Packaging Development Senior Specialist will Lead the development, finalization, and production oversight of Breadfast packaging materials. Ensure packaging solutions are structurally sound, cost-efficient, brand-compliant, and production-ready, while maintaining quality standards across suppliers and warehouse deliveries.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Packaging Development & Optimization

• Develop and refine packaging structures (die-cuts, formats, and specifications) for new and existing products.
• Research and select appropriate materials to ensure durability, functionality, cost efficiency, and brand alignment.
• Review and prepare artwork files for print readiness, ensuring compliance with technical printing standards (bleeds, color codes, overprints, and specifications).
• Continuously optimize packaging designs to reduce material waste and improve unit economics without compromising quality.

Production Management & Supplier Coordination

• Manage technical coordination with printing suppliers and packaging vendors.
• Attend print trials and production runs to ensure color accuracy and technical compliance with approved samples.
• Approve pre-production samples and validate final specifications before mass production.

Quality Assurance & Delivery Control

• Conduct quality checks on packaging deliveries at warehouse level.
• Validate packaging against approved samples and technical specifications.
• Accept or reject supplier shipments based on quality standards, color consistency, size accuracy, and finishing.
• Track recurring quality issues and work with suppliers on corrective actions.
