Key Accountabilities:
- Designing and developing suitable packaging systems according to the product's nature and specifications.
- Selecting appropriate packaging materials to ensure product protection during storage and transportation.
- Preparing packaging drawings for a wooden box and packing instructions.
- Ensuring compliance with customer requirements and applicable local and international standards.
- Coordinating with Production, Warehousing, and Shipping departments to ensure shipment readiness on time.
- Studying and optimizing packaging costs while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Investigate any transportation damage cases and propose corrective and preventive actions.
- Supervising packaging operations inside the factory to ensure adherence to approved standards and procedures.
- Working to customer requirements standards SEI-4C & ISPM15
- Improving packaging processes to increase efficiency and reduce
Qualifications & Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical or any related engineering fields.
- 2+ years of experience in packaging design and development.
- Strong knowledge of packaging technology, materials, and design principles, with knowledge of testing methods, regulations, and standards for packaging.
- Familiarity with production equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of sustainability and environmental issues related to packaging.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software with project management skills.
- Strong creativity skills for developing unique packaging solutions using current trends.
