About the Role

The Packaging Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of daily meal packing operations, maintaining accuracy, quality, hygiene, and timely dispatch of all orders. This role requires strong leadership, excellent attention to detail, and effective coordination with the kitchen and logistics teams to uphold operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily meal packaging operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely output.
  • Allocate and manage tasks among packers to meet production and dispatch schedules.
  • Ensure proper labeling, portion control, sealing, and packaging presentation according to brand standards.
  • Verify order sheets and ensure correct meals are packed and assigned for delivery.
  • Uphold high standards of hygiene, food safety, and HACCP compliance.
  • Monitor and control wastage of food and packaging materials.
  • Conduct routine quality checks and promptly address any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team for meal readiness and logistics for timely dispatch.
  • Maintain daily records of production, packaging material usage, and manpower attendance.
  • Train and guide packing staff on hygiene standards, SOPs, and safe handling of food items.
  • Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations remain clean, organized, and fully operational.
  • Report operational issues, shortages, or maintenance requirements to management promptly.

Requirements

  • Minimum 35 years of experience in a similar role within F&B, catering, or meal delivery industry.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficient in basic documentation, checklists, and report preparation.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, or public holidays as required.

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Food Technology, or a related field (preferred).
