Painter

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Painter to join our Facilities Management team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out painting, touch-up, repair, and maintenance works across residential, commercial, and facility management sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out painting and touch-up works for walls, ceilings, doors, frames, and other surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling, and applying primer where required.
• Mix and apply different types of paints and coatings as instructed.
• Repair cracks, holes, peeling paint, and other surface defects before painting.
• Carry out repainting and maintenance works as part of preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ensure proper finishing and quality of completed work.
• Protect furniture, flooring, fixtures, and other areas while carrying out painting work.
• Use painting tools and equipment safely and maintain them in good condition.
• Coordinate with the FM Supervisor and other technicians to complete assigned maintenance work.
• Keep the work area clean and safe after completing the job.
• Report material requirements and any additional repair requirements to the supervisor.
• Follow company safety procedures and site requirements at all times.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• ITI, Trade Certificate, or relevant experience in Painting.
• Previous experience as a Painter, preferably in Facilities Management, maintenance, construction, or fit-out.
• Good knowledge of different paints, primers, coatings, and surface preparation.
• Able to use basic painting tools and equipment.
• Good finishing skills and attention to detail.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
  

Preferred

• UAE experience in Facilities Management or building maintenance.
• Experience working in residential, commercial, or large facilities.
• Knowledge of basic repair and maintenance works.
• Ability to join immediately is an advantage.
