Painter Maintenance Department

Purpose:

The painter provides comprehensive multi-trade maintenance, repair, and installation services across university facilities, while simultaneously ensuring efficient department operations.

Responsibilities:

• Painting and Finishing Works: Perform surface preparation, painting, coating, and finishing works for walls, ceilings, doors, metal structures, and other facility elements to maintain building appearance and protect surfaces from deterioration
• General Administrative Support: Perform other related duties as requested

Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirements:

• Intermediate diploma

Experience:

• Minimum of five years in the same field of experience

Skills:

Core Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good organizational, oral, and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively individually or in teams

Physical Demands:

• Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform duties, including heavy lifting, as required by the trade
