We are seeking a dedicated and experienced DCAS Licensed Paramedic to join our emergency medical services team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pre-hospital emergency medical care, stabilizing patients, and ensuring safe transportation while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency medical calls
- Assess patients conditions and provide appropriate pre-hospital emergency care
- Perform Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) interventions as permitted by the DCAS scope of practice
- Administer medications and medical treatments in accordance with DCAS protocols
- Safely transport patients to designated healthcare facilities while continuously monitoring their condition
- Operate and maintain ambulances and emergency medical equipment
- Accurately complete patient care reports and other required documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, hospitals, and other emergency response agencies
- Ensure compliance with DCAS regulations, company policies, and infection prevention and control standards
- Participate in emergency drills, training sessions, and continuing professional development activities
- Maintain readiness of emergency vehicles, equipment, and medical supplies
Requirements
- Valid DCAS Paramedic License (mandatory)
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Paramedicine or Emergency Medical Services
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) or equivalent recognized provider
- PALS certification is an advantage
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Paramedic, preferably in emergency medical services or pre-hospital care
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and perform effectively under pressure
- Physically fit and able to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industrial sites, oil & gas, events, or remote medical services
- ATLS, ITLS, or PHTLS certification is an advantage
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
