Systemvation designs and builds custom test, automation, and monitoring systems for aerospace, industrial, and infrastructure clients in Singapore. We operate from our Tampines workshop with a small team, delivering made-to-order solutions. We are ISO 9001: 2015 certified and bizSAFE Level 3.

Job Summary

You will support wiring, assembly, and build tasks for test rigs and control panels, working part-time with guidance to meet quality and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

Build and terminate wiring harnesses accurately to engineering drawings
Wire control panels and enclosures following electrical schematics
Assemble mechanical components of test rigs, racks, and enclosures
Perform crimping, labeling, continuity checks, and point-to-point wiring verification
Assist in setting up tests and conducting factory acceptance testing
Support installation and commissioning activities at client sites within Singapore
Maintain detailed build records and traceability documentation
Use hand tools, crimping tools, and multimeters confidently to complete tasks
Work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety and quality standards
Communicate effectively to coordinate work schedules and site visits

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Experience in control panel building or wiring harness assembly
Background in aerospace, test equipment, or precision assembly industries
Experience with instrumentation, sensor, or data acquisition wiring
Valid certifications in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), Work-at-Height, or Material Handling Equipment (MHE)

Other Information

Part-time role, typically 2 days per week with flexible scheduling
Additional days may be available during busy periods with advance notice
Work location primarily at Tampines workshop with occasional client site visits
Hourly rate ranges from S$15 to S$28 depending on skill level and independence
Transport reimbursement provided for site work
CPF contributions as applicable
Suitable for semi-retired technicians or those seeking regular part-time technical work
