HIRING FOR A PRIVATE EVENTS MANAGEMENT COMPANY
Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Partnership/Marketing Executive located in Doha, Qatar. The Partnership/Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, planning and conducting marketing initiatives, communicating with stakeholders, and researching market trends. The role also includes devising sales strategies and contributing to the growth and visibility of the company's brand in target markets. Responsible for managing and developing the association's sponsorship programs. A key focus is building and maintaining productive relationships with sponsors while achieving revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Market Planning and Market Research, including identifying trends and opportunities.
- Strong Communication skills for effective internal and external stakeholder engagement.
- Experience and skills in Sales and Marketing, including designing campaigns and driving revenue.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships with relevant businesses and organizations.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for marketing and partnership development is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience in the Qatar market or GCC countries is advantageous.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and maintain relationships with existing and past sponsors and exhibitors.
- Maintain regular contact with key organizational sponsors, arranging regular meetings with the CEO and Board representatives.
- Negotiate all sponsorship agreements and ensure they are recorded in writing.
- Ensure all association commitments to sponsors are met for each project.
- Identify, research and approach prospective sponsors
- Meet agreed annual revenue targets for sponsorship
- Collaborate with the professional conference organizer for annual conference to maximize Sponsor and exhibitor participation
- Provide regular reports to the Project Manager, Board and relevant committees on sponsorship.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years sales/sponsorship experience in events or other related industry
- Track record of exceeding sales targets and ability to pitch and close deals effectively
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
- Strong network and relationships with potential sponsors
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience in contract negotiation and renewal
- Analytical mindset for identifying sponsor needs and ROI
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
