Job Description

Job Overview:

The primary purpose of the Parts Advisor Outdoor Sales role at BMW is to promote and sell BMW parts and accessories to external clients, such as independent workshops, fleet companies, and body shops. The role involves building strong customer relationships, providing expert product advice, and ensuring timely delivery and follow-up to meet sales targets and support AGMC brand and service standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with 4th level parts advisors and ordering person to ensure parts are available or ordered promptly when needed.
  • Plan and manage regular visits to assigned sales territory or client list to ensure consistent service and identify new opportunities.
  • Provide technical assistance or clarification on BMW parts specifications, compatibility, and installation to external clients.
  • Collaborate with the internal parts department to ensure product availability and manage special customer requests or backorders.
  • Keep customer data and transaction history up to date in systems for follow-ups and targeted marketing.
  • Work closely with parts advisors, warehouse staff, and parts managers to ensure seamless customer service and support.
  • Actively promote current offers, seasonal campaigns, and new product launches to maximize parts turnover.
  • Ensure adherence & compliance to policies, procedures, ISO standards, Health & Safety requirements, ethical code of conduct & values.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with external clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide expert advice on BMW parts and accessories, ensuring clients receive the correct and most suitable products.
  • Process orders efficiently and coordinate timely deliveries.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust sales strategies.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets set by management.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and forecasts.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
  • Diploma or Bachelors of Automobile/Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+yrs Experience working in automotive parts or service preferred
  • Basic understanding of automotive components and systems.
  • MS Office skills
  • Valid UAE driving license is a MUST.
