Job Description

Job Purpose

Responsible for promoting, selling, and supporting the spare parts business for the brand. The role requires strong technical understanding, regular field visits, and the ability to provide accurate parts recommendations to customers. Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction while contributing to brand performance targets.

Responsibilities:

Sales & Market Development

  • Conduct daily outdoor visits to workshops, sub-dealers, fleets, and retail customers to promote and sell spare parts for the assigned brand.
  • Expand the customer base through prospecting, lead generation, and identifying new market opportunities.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and support the overall business objectives of the parts department.
  • Participate in seasonal activations, mall events, and annual automotive exhibitions to enhance market reach.
  • Promote company services, including delivery options, service programs, promotions, and loyalty offers.

Technical Consultation & Parts Identification

  • Provide accurate technical advice on spare parts related to the assigned brand, including specifications and compatibility.
  • Help customers identify the required parts using catalogues, digital systems, and technical references.
  • Recommend suitable alternatives when applicable (OEM, aftermarket, or approved equivalent).
  • Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams to verify availability, lead times, and delivery schedules.

Order Handling & Documentation

  • Prepare quotations, sales orders, and all necessary documentation for each transaction.
  • Manage the full order cycle including documentation, invoicing, and follow-up until delivery.
  • Maintain updated customer files such as visit reports, purchase history, and follow-up actions.
  • Submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity reports as required.

Customer Relations & Issue Resolution

  • Provide professional customer service through outdoor visits and branch interactions.
  • Handle customer concerns and coordinate internally to ensure efficient complaint resolution.
  • Communicate offers, campaigns, price updates, and new product information to customers.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience to support long-term retention and repeat business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Automotive or any related field is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive workshop operations, service processes, and manufacturer standards.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong financial and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
