Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry & Bakery Chef experienced in preparing traditional and modern Russian pastries and baked goods. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality desserts and bakery items for daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts with a focus on Russian cuisine (e.g., honey cake, pirozhki, blini, syrniki, Napoleon cake).
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all baked goods.
- Manage daily bakery operations including ingredient preparation, baking schedules, and inventory control.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen in compliance with food safety standards.
- Collaborate with management to develop new recipes and seasonal menu items.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Russian pastries and baking techniques.
- Creativity and attention to detail in presentation and flavor.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Culinary certification or relevant training is preferred.
