Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Pattern Maker role based in Cairo, with a mix of on-site work and work-from-home flexibility. The Pattern Maker will translate design concepts into accurate patterns for sportswear and lifestyle apparel, ensuring a balance of performance, comfort, and style. Day-to-day tasks include developing and modifying patterns, conducting fittings, and collaborating with designers, product developers, and production teams to refine fit and construction. The role involves working with CAD tools, preparing technical files for sampling and production, and troubleshooting pattern-related issues to maintain consistency and quality. The Pattern Maker will also support continuous improvement in fit standards, manufacturing efficiency, and product innovation across collections.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Pattern Design and Pattern Making for apparel, ideally with experience in sportswear or activewear.
Proven experience working on Gerber (Gerber AccuMark) for pattern drafting, grading, and marker making. (Required)
Proficiency in Fitting, including evaluating fit on models or mannequins and adjusting patterns for comfort and performance.
Working knowledge of Sewing and garment construction to ensure patterns are practical and production-ready.
Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for pattern drafting, grading, and digital file management.
Attention to detail, accuracy in measurements, and ability to interpret technical specifications and design sketches.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with design, product development, and production teams.
Ability to manage multiple styles and timelines, prioritize tasks, and meet production deadlines.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, Textile Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in an apparel manufacturing or fashion brand environment is an advantage.
