Role Description The Pattern & Marker Group Leader is responsible for overseeing pattern development, marker planning, and related technical activities to support efficient garment production. This full-time, on-site role is based in El Qantara Gharb and requires close collaboration with design, production, and quality teams. Day-to-day tasks include supervising pattern making and marker creation, reviewing fit samples, and ensuring patterns meet brand specifications and production standards. The group leader coordinates CAD work, optimizes fabric utilization, and maintains accurate pattern records and documentation. The role also involves training team members, solving technical issues on the production floor, and supporting continuous improvement in pattern and marker processes.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Pattern Design and Pattern Making, with the ability to translate design concepts into production-ready patterns.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools used for garment pattern and marker creation.
- Hands-on experience with Fitting and Sewing to validate patterns, assess garment construction, and support sample development.
- Experience leading or coordinating a technical team in a garment manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of fabric types, garment construction techniques, and production processes, especially for sportswear or activewear.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to optimize fabric usage and production efficiency.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and quality assurance.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in fashion design, pattern making, textiles, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Familiarity with international quality standards and an understanding of sustainability and compliance practices is an advantage.
