Payroll Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Accountant to join our team and be responsible for reviewing and validating payroll transactions, employee settlements, and related financial calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify monthly payroll calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Review employee salaries, allowances, deductions, overtime, and other payroll-related payments.
• Review and validate final settlements for employees upon resignation, termination, or end of service.
• Ensure accurate calculation of end-of-service benefits, leave balances, deductions, and other employee entitlements.
• Reconcile payroll data with accounting records and identify any discrepancies.
• Review payroll adjustments and ensure proper approvals and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and employee settlement issues.
• Prepare payroll-related reports and reconciliation statements.
• Ensure payroll transactions are properly recorded and aligned with accounting requirements.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documents.
• Support internal and external audits related to payroll and employee settlements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi labor regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in payroll accounting, payroll review, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of payroll calculations and employee final settlements.
• Good understanding of Saudi labor regulations and end-of-service benefits.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Oracle is an added advantage.
